Skills Development- Jennifer

Seeing as there weren't enough computers ( macs) in the editing suit on Thursday 9th February 2012, we then had to move all our files onto the LaCie External Drive ( the orange and silver block).

We used " DaFont.com" to download our font for our final product.

We also used 'motion' on the mac, which will help is complete our final product. ( the text we are going to use)

The font we decided to use for our final product was  '28 days later', which we downloaded from 'dafont.com'.

Towards the end of our final product we decided to change the pace of the heart beat. ( slow at the beginning and from there the pace will increase gradually)

A problem encountered with the sound whilst we were editing, therefore we then had to re-import the sound of the heartbeat, so we were able to use it again as it had stopped working.

Instead of changing the speed each heartbeat, we can overlap the sound towards the end of the trailer.

We then decided to see how far the heartbeat could stretch to without making it any faster. After a while, we decided to shorten  the sound every time to increase the heartbeat in our final product. The only part we didn't shorten were the parts at the end where (when you get a chance to watch our final product) we have the flat line of the heartbeat and the TV friction.

We found that there was a problem with the sound as we were cutting it, however, we found out that all we needed to do was move the space an extra bit closer to each other.

We decided to go for a very simple picture taken by Paris, for our magazine front cover. The image is a close up of our actor Jeffrey ( the scientist). Behind him is the lab equipment.
