Audience Research Response via SMS- Jennifer

For this particular project, I have asked people about their views on horror films. I have used different ways of communicating socially instead of paper to carry out my research.
One of the ways I have conducted my research is by using SMS to get information from my target audience.

As you can see, this particular person is young and interested in reading magazines, however they do not have a preferable magazine.

Clearly at the beginning of the question a spelling mistake had been made, however that did not stop the respondent from answering the question. It shows that headlines are a unique selling point to her. In the media today headlines are important, as they are the first thing the audience see in print, TV and other types of media advertisement. Headlines attract and select the kind of prospects a researcher would like to have from their audience.

This individual believes that the idea of having a specific colour for a specific product is important for any product. Colour is a way of communicating through a product, so it can sell.

This person does not particulay like horror films, however doesn't find antything inappropriate about them. But this individual says that they would watch a horror in daytime, and expects the typical things to happen in a horror film.

This person usually watches a 15 age certificate film, which is usually the age certificate for a horror.

The storyline of a trailer is important, as it gives the audience an opportunity of choice, whether they want to watch the movie or not based on what they have
seen so far.

The individual has sated that they would think that a teaser trailer should be about 1 minute long, which is good, this way we will be able to give the audience enough but not too much too much coverage, so they can decide if they want to to see the finished film.
